Scenes from the gala dinner Lamhe held on May 30 that saw several stars performing such as Kavita Krishnamuthi and Suresh Wadkar. The evening saw a huge attendance.	Dr Ruby Dhalla, Member of Parliament, Brampton-Springdale, celebrates Seniors Month.
Gurkaran Singh Dhani, a 13-year-old grade 7 student of Windfields JHS, Toronto and a member of the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, was recently awarded the Capt A.A. Davidson ,CD Trophy at the Annual Review Parade of the Cadets held on April 26, 2010. This trophy is awarded to the Best First Year Cadet.	Aarzoo Hameed won the title "Kalathilakam" for securing the highest points in the categories of classical song, cinematic song, cinematic dance, folk dance and fancy dress in the recently concluded "Culfest 2010" by organized by Canadian Malayali Association.

Shiamak Davar dancers perform during Tarang 2010, a cultural show organised by Sharika Foundation and Kashmiri Overseas Association of Canada (KOAC). Tarang 2010 saw over 800 people in attendance. The evening also included performances from cultural ambassadors like Lata Pada’s dance group.
