Lexus is expanding its electrified lineup with the 2027 Lexus TZ All Electric, a new luxury SUV that marks the brand’s first three row, fully electric, all wheel drive model. Designed for families and premium SUV buyers, the TZ combines quiet electric performance with the craftsmanship, comfort, and refinement expected from Lexus.
Built on the Lexus TNGA platform, the TZ All Electric is engineered to deliver a smooth and controlled driving experience. Its low centre of gravity and highly rigid body structure are designed to improve stability, while advanced posture control and selectable drive modes help drivers feel more confident across different road conditions.
The SUV also reflects the Lexus Driving Signature, which focuses on balance, precision, and natural vehicle response. Features such as Dynamic Rear Steering, aerodynamic optimization, an evolved all wheel drive system, and adjustable regenerative braking allow the TZ to deliver a composed drive while giving drivers greater control over acceleration, handling, and deceleration.
Inside, the 2027 Lexus TZ All Electric is designed to feel like a quiet luxury lounge. A low floor and long wheelbase help create a spacious cabin, while three row seating, standard second row captain’s chairs, and a panoramic roof give passengers an open and comfortable environment. Lexus has also emphasized thoughtful materials, including Forged Bamboo sourced from Shikoku Island, along with warm interior palettes such as Birch, Acorn, and Black with Dapple Gray.
The exterior design follows Lexus’ Provocative Simplicity approach, using clean sculpted surfaces, an elongated profile, and a spindle body to create a modern and aerodynamic look. The SUV will offer six exterior colour choices, including the new Shaded Ivy finish, which Lexus describes as being inspired by natural depth and harmony.
Technology plays a major role in the TZ All Electric. The latest Lexus Interface system brings connected features through Remote Connect with an active trial or paid subscription, along with smartphone and digital wallet access, integrated navigation, EV charge management tools, Drive Recorder, and wireless smartphone compatibility.
Charging has also been designed for convenience. The TZ introduces a Lexus first two in one charging port that places AC and DC connectors side by side under a compact motorized cover. Battery preconditioning, optimized charging schedules, and external power use are also included to support everyday EV ownership.
Safety comes standard with Lexus Safety System Plus 4.0, which includes features such as Pre Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Tracing Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Eco Run Mode, and Proactive Driving Assist. Together, these systems are designed to help monitor the road, support the driver, and improve confidence during daily travel.
The 2027 Lexus TZ All Electric positions Lexus more strongly in the growing luxury EV SUV market. With three row practicality, advanced safety, refined materials, and a focus on quiet electric performance, the TZ is aimed at drivers who want a premium family SUV without leaving the electric future behind.
