Islamabad: A permanent ban has been imposed on the sending of figures from Pakistan. It is being told, the old and broken figures brought from different gurdwaras of Gurdwara Baba Fateh Singh, Singh Sabha, Bakhshpur of Kashmore district of Sindh province of Pakistan were to reach India through the Attari-Wahga border by the Pakistani Sikhs. But Pakistan has suddenly changed its decision. According to the information, the leader of the Sindhi Sikh Sangat, Mahesh Singh, sent a letter to the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and requested that more than 200 figures of Sri Guru Granth Sahib brought from Pakistan should be taken to Delhi and kept according to Sikh norms. In that letter it is also written that due to ongoing construction work in Gurdwara Baba Fateh Singh, it is not possible to keep the idol in Gurdwara Sahib for a long time.
On the other hand, the chairman of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has claimed that Delhi Committee Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee this form was being imported into India without the approval of the government, due to which this action has been stopped.
Some Pakistani Sikh leaders have also alleged that security forces at the Indian border use sniffer dogs to search goods when sending motifs or other religious symbols, leading to the desecration of religious scriptures or other items.
