The 2024 Khalsa Day Parade is taking place on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 1 p.m.
Road closures will be in place for all or part of the day.
Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation. The TTC may experience delays. The parade will take place regardless of weather conditions.
The Better Living Building Exhibition Place will be the staging and formation area.
Locations:
Festival Closure:
Bay Street, from Hagerman Street to Queen Street West (Full)
University Avenue, from Dundas Street West to Queen Street West (northbound and southbound curb lanes)
Albert Street will be closed at Bay Street
Parade Route:
Starting at Better Living Centre (Exhibition Place, 195 Princess Boulevard), Ontario Drive south to Lake Shore Blvd West
Lake Shore Blvd West eastbound to York Street
York Street, the parade will cross over the westbound lanes and go north on York Street
North on York Street to University Avenue
University Avenue to Armoury Street West
Walkers will pass through the Osgoode Hall gardens and Osgoode Lane
Parade Floats will dismantle on University Avenue
School buses will park along University Avenue to pick up participants after the parade

Closure: 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Parade: 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Event at Nathan Philip Square: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
