Ingredients for Banana Elaichi Caramel Icecream Recipe
◦ Banana Puree 6-7 tablespoons
◦ Green cardamom Powder 3/4 teaspoon
◦ Vanilla icecream 3 cups
◦ Sugar 4 tablespoons
◦ Butter 2 tablespoons
◦ Fresh cream 2-3 tablespoons
◦ Sea salt a pinch
◦ Chopped banana for garnishing
Method
Step 1
Put vanilla icecream in a bowl and beat with an electric beater.
Step 2
To make caramel, heat 3 tbsps water in a non-stick pan, add sugar and cook brushing the sides of the pan at intervals.
Step 3
Add banana puree to vanilla icecream and continue to beat. Add cardamom powder and beat well.
Step 4
When the sugar begins to caramelize, add butter and fresh cream and mix to make toffee sauce.
Step 5
Switch off the heat and add sea salt and mix well. Cool it down to room temperature.
Step 6
Add this to the vanilla icecream-banana mixture and continue to beat with the electric beater till smooth.
Step 7
Pour the prepared mixture into a silicon container, cover with a lid and keep in the refrigerator to set.
Step 8
Scoop out icecream from the container and place in stem glasses, garnish with chopped bananas and serve chilled.
