Following a daytime gunshot in Toronto’s Moss Park neighbourhood, a man was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
It happened at 5:10 p.m. near Queen and Sherbourne streets.
According to police, one individual was taken into custody at the site, and a handgun was discovered.
The circumstances surrounding the gunshot are unknown, while overhead imagery appears to show a scene in the southeast corner of Moss Park with debris on the ground.
Sherbourne Street is temporarily closed between Shuter and Queen streets as police undertake a thorough investigation.
