Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a graceful appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival 2025, where she opened up about her career choices, her personal life, and why she has never felt insecure about taking breaks from films. Speaking candidly at the event, the actress shared that her focus on family has always guided her decisions more than industry expectations.

Reflecting on her current priorities, Aishwarya said she is fully immersed in raising her daughter, Aaradhya, and spending time with her husband, Abhishek Bachchan. According to The Hollywood Reporter India, she noted that being present for her family gives her such fulfillment that she never worries about not signing new projects. For her, insecurity has never been a motivating factor, and she believes clarity about one’s values is essential in navigating a demanding industry.

She further explained that many external voices may try to influence an actor’s choices by appealing to fear or competition, but she has always resisted that pressure. Staying grounded in who she is, she said, keeps her unaffected by such noise. This steady mindset, she added, has shaped her career from the very beginning.

Aishwarya also revisited a defining moment from her early days in cinema. After winning the Miss World title, she was approached by filmmaker Mani Ratnam for Iruvar. She recalled how Ratnam told her the film was not meant to be a typical star launch but a story-driven project. That honesty convinced her immediately, and she knew it was the film she truly wanted to be part of.

On the professional front, Aishwarya was last seen in Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2, released in 2023. The period epic earned strong reviews and collected Rs 344.63 crore worldwide. The ensemble cast included Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, and many other prominent names, making the film one of the standout cinematic successes of that year.
