Actor Alia Bhatt reportedly experienced a distressing moment early in her career when she was surrounded by airport staff while travelling during the filming of Student of the Year. Her former bodyguard Zeeshan Qureshi recently shared details of the incident, describing how the situation quickly became uncomfortable for the young actor.

Speaking in an interview with Screen, Qureshi recalled that the episode took place while the film’s team was travelling overseas for a shoot. After completing immigration formalities, Bhatt was briefly left waiting alone when several airport staff members recognized her and gathered around to request photographs. According to him, what began as enthusiasm from fans soon turned into a crowded and overwhelming situation.

Qureshi said the actor appeared visibly uneasy as multiple individuals surrounded her while she waited without her support team nearby. He noted that the crowd quickly closed in around her, leaving her with little personal space and creating a stressful environment during what was otherwise a routine travel moment.

He explained that he intervened as soon as he completed his own formalities and reached her location. Observing that people had gathered too closely while attempting to take pictures, he asked them to step back and reminded them to maintain appropriate distance and respect. He then escorted Bhatt safely away from the area. Qureshi currently works as part of the security team for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.

Meanwhile, Bhatt is preparing for the release of her upcoming film Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail and produced as part of YRF Spy Universe created by Aditya Chopra. The film also features Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, and has already generated strong interest following its early teaser appearance after War 2, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.
