Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 cup cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
- Marinate the chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, turmeric, 1 tablespoon garam masala, and 1 tablespoon chili powder for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Heat oil in a pan, add onions, and fry until golden brown. Add the garlic and ginger pastes, and sauté for a few minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until it’s mostly done.
- Add the tomato puree, remaining garam masala, and chili powder, and cook until oil separates.
- Stir in butter and cream, simmer for 10 minutes. Garnish with cilantro.
