Arrest warrant issued against Dharam Singh Dhaliwal of Indian origin

Brampton: Canadian police have issued a nationwide arrest warrant against Dharam Singh Dhaliwal, a man of Indian origin, in connection with the death of a 21-year-old woman named Pawanpreet Kaur in December. For your information, in a statement, Peel Regional Police said that 30-year-old Dharam Dhaliwal planned the murder of Pawanpreet Kaur, a resident of Brampton, in September 2022 and went missing on purpose.

“Homicide Bureau investigators have issued a Canada-wide arrest warrant in connection with a December 2022 incident in Mississauga that resulted in the death of a woman,”

police said in a statement.

Dharam is described as a South Asian male, 5’8″, 170 pounds, with a tattoo on his left hand. According to the police, Dharam Dhaliwal should be considered armed and dangerous. “On April 18, 2023, two family members were arrested in Moncton, New Brunswick. A 25-year-old man, Pritpal Dhaliwal, and a 50-year-old woman, Amarjeet Dhaliwal, have been charged with accessory after the fact to murder, a police statement said. In a statement, Peel Regional Police urged Dhaliwal to seek legal advice and warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

“If anyone knows Dharam Dhaliwal or has any other information that may assist in this investigation, please contact investigators at 905-453-2121 extension 3205,” police said.
