Ingredients:
- 1 cup cashews
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- Silver leaf (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Grind cashews into a fine powder without over-processing.
- In a pan, combine sugar and water over low heat until sugar dissolves into a syrup.
- Add cashew powder to the syrup and mix continuously. Add cardamom powder.
- Cook on low heat until the mixture thickens and forms a dough.
- Let it cool slightly, roll between parchment paper to 1/4-inch thickness, and cut into diamonds.
- Apply silver leaf if desired for a festive touch.
