Ingredients:
- 500g okra (bhindi), cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 2 medium tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 green chilies (chopped)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
- Add onions and green chilies, sauté until golden. Stir in tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Mix in turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- Add okra and mix well. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, until okra is tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala and serve hot with chapati or rice.
