Brampton Transit Rolls Out Route and Schedule Updates Starting March 2

Commuters in Brampton will see several changes to local bus services beginning March 2 as Brampton Transit adjusts routes and timetables across the city. According to the City of Brampton, the updates are designed to improve service reliability and better align with current ridership patterns.

City officials say passengers are encouraged to review updated schedules to understand how their regular routes may be affected. Weekday service adjustments have been made to a wide range of routes, including major corridors such as 502 Züm Main, 505 Züm Bovaird, 1 and 1A Queen, 2 Main, 3 and 3A McLaughlin, 5 and 5A Bovaird, 7 and 7A Kennedy, 8 Centre, 11 and 11A Steeles, 14 and 14A Torbram, 16 Southgate, 17 Howden, 26 Mount Pleasant, 27 Robert Parkinson, 28 and 28A Wanless, 29 and 29A Williams, 30 Airport Road, 50 and 50A Gore Road, 104 Chinguacousy Express, 215 St. Thomas Aquinas, and the 301 Westcreek Employment Shuttle, among others.

As part of the changes, a new weekday employment shuttle will replace the former BT On Demand service. The updated shuttle will serve key employment areas including Westcreek Boulevard, Tomken Road, Steeles Avenue and Bramalea GO, providing improved connections for workers travelling to and from industrial and commercial zones.

Weekend riders will also notice schedule updates. Saturday adjustments apply to routes such as 1 and 1A Queen, 5 and 5A Bovaird, 7 Kennedy, 14 and 14A Torbram, and 30 Airport Road. On Sundays, revised schedules affect routes 5 and 5A Bovaird, 14 and 14A Torbram, and 30 Airport Road.

In addition, Route 30 Airport Road will feature extra northbound Sunday trips departing Westwood Mall at 6:40 a.m. and 6:07 p.m. Transit users are advised to check the latest timetables before travelling to ensure a smooth commute under the updated service plan.
