Cadillac has just shared glimpses of the CELESTIQ show car, which represents the purest expression of Cadillac design, technology and performance. From first approach, the striking silhouette of the CELESTIQ show car leaves a lasting impression, challenging the ultra-luxury space with the spirit of futurism and the avant-garde.
Cadillac’s signature lighting design rises to a new level on the CELESTIQ show car. Unmistakably Cadillac, but with a modern edge, a lively and soulful choreographed symphony of light boldly invites each passenger into the vehicle.
“From its unique proportions and a new effortless, sophisticated form language, to the precision and attention to detail, CELESTIQ is unlike anything on the road today,” said Magalie Debellis, manager, Cadillac Branded Advanced Design. “From its inception, the CELESTIQ show car was crafted to reincarnate the ‘Standard of the World.’”
Cadillac also shared a second set of images of the CELESTIQ show car. The design resonates from the first impression to inspire continued discovery and fascination. Drawing from periods of Cadillac’s 120-year heritage for a bold vision of the future, the CELESTIQ show car sets new standards for exceptional craftsmanship and technology.
The interior is open and spacious, and creates an experience unlike anything else with a focus on meticulous detailing overlayed on a clean cutting-edge design.
“The CELESTIQ exterior and interior were designed together to reflect a holistic vision of what American luxury can be,” said Tristan Murphy, Cadillac interior design manager. “With CELESTIQ, we’ve created an even higher level of craft, allowing us to add that beautiful sense of movement through the cabin.”
Rooted in heritage and advanced technologies, each CELESTIQ will be hand-built to exacting standards at a special facility at General Motors’ Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. Through a creative collaboration, each CELESTIQ created will evoke a personal connection with every customer.
“Every CELESTIQ will be instantly identifiable as one of a kind, giving each client a personal connection to Cadillac’s newest flagship,” said Erin Crossley, design director, Cadillac CELESTIQ.
“With Cadillac reimagining the future of American luxury, we are entering an era of limitless possibilities and the future of design,” a spokesperson said. CELESTIQ availability will be announced at a later date.
