  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook grits in water according to package instructions; stir in butter and cheese until melted and smooth.
  2. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a skillet, sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until soft. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  4. Serve shrimp over grits, garnished with green onions.
