This creamy cheesecake combines the refreshing flavors of lassi with the richness of classic cheesecake.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon rose water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 ½ cups crushed graham crackers
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press into the base of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, yogurt, and sugar until smooth.
- Add cardamom, rose water, vanilla, and eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Pour the mixture over the crust and bake for 50 minutes.
- Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Whip the heavy cream and spread it over the cheesecake. Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top before serving.
