Ingredients:

  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  2. Pour in crushed tomatoes, broth, and basil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 more minutes.
  4. Blend for a smooth texture and serve with bread.
