- 4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup peas, boiled
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon amchur (dry mango powder)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Mix the mashed potatoes, peas, green chilies, ginger, cumin seeds, chili powder, garam masala, amchur, salt, and cilantro in a bowl until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a flat round patty.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties over medium heat until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Serve hot with tamarind chutney or mint yogurt sauce.
