Ingredients:
- 12 spring roll wrappers
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Sweet chili sauce for dipping
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, bean sprouts, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Place a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing towards you. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the vegetable filling onto the bottom third of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the side corners, and roll tightly into a cylinder.
- Brush the top corner with water and press to seal the edge.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (180°C). Fry the spring rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
