- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, grated and excess water squeezed out
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons mint, finely chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the gyros:
- 4-6 pita breads
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced red onions
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Optional: sliced jalapeños for extra heat
Instructions:
- Marinate the Lamb:

- Assemble the Gyros:
- Warm the pita breads on the skillet or in the oven until soft and pliable.
- Spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on each pita.
- Add cooked lamb, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and cilantro. If you like, add some sliced jalapeños for extra heat.
- Fold the pita around the fillings or roll it up like a wrap.
- Serve:
- Serve the gyros immediately, accompanied by extra tzatziki sauce on the side.
