Drake’s latest music era has turned into one of the most dominant chart moments of his career. Following the May 15 release of three albums, ICEMAN, HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR, the Toronto rapper delivered a rare commercial sweep across streaming platforms and Billboard charts, proving once again that his reach remains massive in global music.

According to Billboard Canada, all three projects debuted in the top three positions on the Billboard 200, with ICEMAN opening at number one, HABIBTI at number two and MAID OF HONOUR at number three. The achievement made Drake the first artist to hold the top three spots on the Billboard 200 at the same time in the chart’s modern history.

ICEMAN opened with 463,000 equivalent album units in the United States, giving Drake his 15th career number one album on the Billboard 200. That moved him past Jay Z and tied him with Taylor Swift for the most number one albums among solo artists, behind only The Beatles overall.

The Hot 100 was just as historic. Drake placed 42 songs on the chart in a single week, breaking the previous record for the most simultaneous Hot 100 entries. Billboard Canada reported that the total pushed his career count to 402 Hot 100 entries, making him the first artist ever to cross the 400 song mark on the chart.

The biggest headline came from Janice STFU, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The song gave Drake his 14th career Hot 100 chart topper, moving him past Michael Jackson for the most number one hits by a solo male artist. The milestone placed Drake deeper into pop music history and sparked widespread discussion about his position among the most commercially successful artists of all time.

Drake also dominated the upper part of the Hot 100, placing nine songs in the top ten in the same week. Tracks including Ran To Atlanta, Whisper My Name, Shabang, National Treasures, Make Them Cry, Dust, 2 Hard 4 the Radio and Make Them Pay helped turn the chart into a near complete Drake takeover.

Streaming platforms showed similar strength. Rolling Stone reported that Spotify said Drake became the most streamed artist in a single day of 2026 following the three album release. ICEMAN also became the most streamed album in a single day on Spotify in 2026 so far, while Make Them Cry became the most streamed song in a single day on the platform this year.

The achievement is especially significant because Drake released the three albums at once, flooding the market with 43 songs across different sounds and moods. ICEMAN leaned heavily into rap, sharp lyrics and industry tension, while HABIBTI moved into smoother R&B territory and MAID OF HONOUR explored more dance driven production.

The rollout also carried major cultural weight for Toronto. Drake has long positioned the city at the centre of his music identity, and this release once again placed Canadian hip hop in the middle of the global conversation. For fans in Toronto and across Canada, the numbers reflect not only Drake’s personal success, but also the city’s continued influence on mainstream music.

While critics remain divided on the artistic quality of the triple album release, the commercial results are undeniable. Drake did not just return with a successful album cycle. He created a chart event, broke multiple records and reminded the music industry that few artists can still command attention at this scale.

The ICEMAN era now stands as one of Drake’s most historic moments. From becoming the first artist to pass 400 Hot 100 entries to surpassing Michael Jackson’s solo male number one record, Drake has added another major chapter to a career already built on streaming dominance, chart power and global influence.
