On Sunday, October 9, 2022, at approximately 7:20 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting at an indoor soccer field in the area of Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue West area.
It is reported that:
- officers arrived on scene and located a 49-year-old man who had been shot
- the man was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased
- two other men were also shot and transported to hospital, one with life threatening injuries
Homicide Investigators are seeking assistance from the public in identifying four men who are persons of interest in the case.
