Ingredients:
- 1 cup semolina (sooji)
- 1/2 cup ghee
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, pistachios)
Instructions:
- Heat ghee in a pan and roast semolina until golden and aromatic.
- In a separate pan, heat water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Gradually add the syrup to the roasted semolina, stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
- Add cardamom powder and cook until the halwa thickens.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm.
