BRAMPTON: Prabmeet Sarkaria, Assoc. Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction and MPP for Brampton South has announced that @Hope24_7 in Brampton will receive $750,000 in Ontario Trillium funding.
“This funding will help expand Hope 24/7’s violence prevention program and will help promote the positive development of our youth in Brampton!” Sarkaria said.
Hope 24/7 is the designated Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis Centre of Peel Region. The organization helps survivors of relationship & sexual violence.
This is the provincially designated Sexual Assault Centre (SAC) for the Region of Peel.
Services include:
Clinical Services – clinical intervention services delivered by regulated health professionals. Crisis Services – a time-limited crisis intervention to individuals who have experienced trauma.
Non-Clinical Services – are designed to provide the support clients need in order to prepare them for trauma treatment.
Enhanced Wellness Program – works with individuals to overcome challenges and become ready to start intensive trauma work.
