INQUEST INTO THE DEATH OF DREW PEARSON ANNOUNCED

Office, has announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Drew
Pearson.
Mr. Pearson, 29 years old, died in hospital on December 27, 2018, after being
transferred from the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre in London. An inquest into
his death is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Pearson’s death. The
jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
Further details regarding the inquest, including the date and venue, will be
provided at a later date.
