INQUEST INTO THE DEATH OF TROY PAYASH ANNOUNCED

Office, has announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Troy
Payash.
Mr. Payash, 35 years old, died on June 15, 2019, following an interaction with
officers from the Ontario Provincial Police that occurred on June 10, 2019. An
inquest into his death is mandatory under the Coroners Act.
The inquest will examine the circumstances surrounding Mr. Payash’s death. The
jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing further deaths.
Further details regarding the inquest, including the date and venue, will be
provided at a later date.
