Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, symbolizes the victory of good over evil and the renewal of friendship, unity, and harmony within families and communities. This special festival is a time to come together, reflect on the past year, and look ahead with optimism for the year to come.
We warmly welcome you to participate in the vibrant and meaningful traditions that make Diwali such a cherished celebration. The event will feature the ‘Annakut’, a traditional offering of hundreds of vegetarian dishes beautifully and artistically presented to the Divine as an expression of gratitude. The festival will be filled with the colours, lights, sounds, and tastes that define Diwali, offering a sensory experience that truly captures the spirit of the occasion.
You are welcome to attend the celebrations anytime between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. However, please note that the Mandir may become busier as the afternoon progresses, so we recommend arriving earlier if possible to enjoy a more serene experience.
For a glimpse of the grandeur and joy of our Diwali festivities, we invite you to view photos from BAPS Diwali Celebration 2023.
We look forward to celebrating this important occasion with you and your family. Please let us know if you will be attending by RSVPing with your expected time of arrival and number of guests by October 25, 2024, via email at RSVP.toronto@ca.BAPS.org.
We hope to see you there as we come together to mark this special festival of light, renewal, and joy.
Best regards,
The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Community
