Kadai Tofu Stir-Fry: A Healthy Indo-Chinese Fusion Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200g tofu, cubed
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Tofu:
    • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Lightly fry tofu cubes until golden. Set aside.
  2. Cook Vegetables:
    • Heat remaining oil and sauté onions and ginger-garlic paste until fragrant.
    • Add bell peppers and tomatoes. Cook until soft.
  3. Add Spices & Tofu:
    • Mix in turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and soy sauce. Stir well.
    • Toss in the tofu cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes to coat.
  4. Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
