Ingredients for Koftas:
- 1 cup grated paneer
- 1 medium potato, boiled and mashed
- 1 tbsp chickpea flour
- 1 green chili, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Ingredients for Curry:
- 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cream for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Koftas:
- In a bowl, combine grated paneer, mashed potato, chickpea flour, green chili, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small balls.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- Prepare the Curry:
- In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. When they splutter, add chopped onions and cook until golden.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, and pureed tomatoes. Cook until oil separates.
- Add garam masala, salt, and a little water. Simmer for a few minutes.
- Add fried koftas and garnish with fresh cream. Serve with soft naan or roti.
