If you’ve ever wished your kid-hauling minivan could keep up with a Challenger Hellcat, a pair of ambitious YouTubers have delivered the wildest, most entertaining answer imaginable. This custom Chrysler Pacifica — built by the Goonzquad channel — swaps out the factory V-6 for a supercharged Hellcat Redeye V-8 pushing roughly 800 horsepower, all while keeping its sliding doors and seating for seven.
It’s the unhinged SRT project that Stellantis never signed off on — but should have.
The build blends a battered Pacifica SX with the drivetrain from a wrecked Hellcat Redeye, resulting in a rear-wheel-drive monster van that can melt tires as easily as it can haul a family to school. Converting a transverse-layout minivan to fit a longitudinal V-8 is no small feat, yet the engine fits shockingly well after extensive cutting, fabrication and creative packaging.
Suspension components were custom engineered, while the factory Brembos from the Challenger were swapped for Wilwood brakes to clear the wheels. Cooling systems were tucked everywhere possible — including underneath the vehicle — to keep the supercharged V-8 from cooking itself.
Despite the extreme performance upgrade, the Pacifica retains full minivan practicality:
-
Three rows of seats
-
Functional sliding doors
-
Everyday usability (plus the potential for unplanned Lego-shrapnel launches under hard acceleration)
Dressed in a custom carbon-fiber hood and mild widebody kit, the Pacifica Hellcat looks like a concept Chrysler might have unveiled at SEMA — part family hauler, part tire-destroying track toy.
The build isn’t quite finished, with paint and final detailing still ahead, but even in its current state it’s one of the most absurdly impressive van projects ever made. At long last, the Pacifica gets the Hemi treatment — and it’s glorious.
