Ingredients:
- 2 cups canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 4 tablespoons oil
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds until they start to crackle.
- Add onions and sauté until translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir for a minute.
- Add tomatoes and cook until soft. Add coriander powder, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
- Add chickpeas, garam masala, and enough water to make a thick gravy. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
