Between September 4 and 8, Peel Public Health officials issued citations to nine food and beverage establishments in Mississauga and Brampton. These establishments were subject to inspections conducted by Peel Health Inspectors in compliance with the Ontario Food Premises Regulation.
The inspection process covers various types of establishments, including local restaurants, cocktail bars, bakeries, and take-out food establishments. The following establishments received conditional passes:

- Issues related to accurate and easy-to-read thermometers, food storage to prevent contamination, handwashing stations, test reagents for sanitizer concentration, maintenance of non-food contact surfaces, and pest control measures.

- Concerns about temperature control for hazardous food, thermometers, food contact surfaces, handwashing stations, required supplies, food handler hygiene, mechanical ventilation, and pest control.
- 7 Eleven – Pearson Terminal 1 – 5980 Airport Rd. Terminal 1
- Problems related to food storage to prevent contamination, non-food contact surfaces, and pest control.
- New Freezeland – 1465 Aerowood Dr, Mississauga
- Issues regarding food storage to prevent contamination, required supplies, sanitizer concentration testing, non-food contact surfaces, washroom cleanliness, mechanical ventilation, and pest control.
- Real Fruit Bubble Tea – 5100 Erin Mills Pkwy, Mississauga
- Concerns about food storage, food handler hygiene, utensil washing, and pest control.
- Dosa Den – 104-10 Gillingham Dr, Brampton
- Problems with handwashing stations, required supplies, mechanical dishwasher, pest control, and housekeeping.
- El Mariachi Tacos & Churros – 235 Queen St. S, Mississauga
- Issues related to temperature control for hazardous food, thermometers, sanitizer concentration testing, mechanical dishwasher, non-food contact surfaces, housekeeping, and waste removal.
- Silver Spoon Takeout & Catering – 249 Queen St E Brampton
- Concerns regarding pest control.
- Tamarind Indian Bistro – 101-33 City Centre Dr Mississauga
- Problems with temperature control for hazardous food, required supplies, non-food contact surfaces, and pest control.
