The pioneer of affordable electric mobility is entering a bold new era. Nissan has revealed the third-generation 2026 LEAF, arriving in Fall 2025 with a complete redesign, upgraded performance, and cutting-edge technology that promises to redefine the EV experience.

Built on over 19 billion kilometers of real-world electric driving, the new LEAF combines sleek aerodynamics with intelligent engineering to maximize efficiency and style. Every curve and line is crafted for purpose, while striking 3D holographic taillights, flush door handles, and 19-inch alloy wheels give the EV a futuristic presence.

Inside, the LEAF offers a lounge-inspired cabin designed for comfort and connection. Premium Zero Gravity seats, generous space for five passengers, and customizable ambient lighting create a personalized driving environment. A dimming panoramic roof with advanced liquid crystal technology allows drivers to control sunlight with the touch of a button, while available Bose Personal Plus audio delivers an immersive sound experience.

Performance takes a significant leap forward. Buyers can choose between a 53 kWh or 75 kWh battery, with the LEAF S+ delivering an estimated 488 kilometers of range per charge. Enhanced acceleration, improved passing power, and adjustable regenerative braking ensure that efficiency doesn’t come at the cost of excitement. Charging is also simplified with Nissan’s adoption of the NACS port, integrated Plug & Charge payment system, and intelligent route planning for stress-free long-distance travel.

On the tech front, the 2026 LEAF debuts Nissan’s Monolith Display, which blends dual 14.3-inch high-resolution screens into a seamless 28-inch digital panorama. Add in a head-up display, an enhanced Around View Monitor, wireless smartphone charging, and the MyNISSAN app, and drivers have a fully connected experience at their fingertips.
