An Ontario man has been arrested and charged after allegedly making violent threats against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in an online video. The RCMP, with assistance from the York Regional Police, apprehended 33-year-old Dawid Zalewski, who faces two counts of uttering threats.
Details of the Incident
Police report that Zalewski made threats against Trudeau, as well as police and security personnel, who might attempt to interfere with his plans. This arrest follows closely on the heels of a similar incident in July, where two Alberta men were charged for posting death threats against Trudeau and other politicians on social media platforms X and YouTube.
