Palak Paneer Perfection: Spinach and Cottage Cheese Made Simple!

Ingredients:

  • 300g paneer (cubed)
  • 500g spinach leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chilies (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 medium tomatoes (pureed)
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp cream

Instructions:

  1. Blanch spinach leaves in boiling water, then blend into a smooth puree.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
  3. Add onions and green chilies, sauté until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Mix in tomato puree, cook until the oil separates. Add spinach puree, garam masala, and salt.
  5. Stir in cream and paneer cubes. Simmer for 5 minutes and serve hot with roti or rice.
