Paneer Tikka Masala Recipe: Restaurant-Style Indian Curry at Home

Ingredients:

  • 250g paneer (cubed)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Marinate Paneer: In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Add paneer cubes and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Grill Paneer: Heat a pan, add oil, and grill marinated paneer until golden brown. Set aside.
  3. Prepare Gravy: In the same pan, sauté chopped onions until golden. Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
  4. Add Spices: Stir in garam masala, chili powder, and salt. Add cream and mix well.
  5. Combine: Add grilled paneer to the gravy, simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with naan or rice.
