Assistance Needed in Fail to Remain Collision Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau (MCB) are seeking public assistance following a fail-to-remain collision that occurred in Mississauga.

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a black Honda SUV on Bristol Road West, at Loonlake Avenue, in Mississauga. The victim, a female in her twenties was taken to a trauma center, where she remains in critical condition.

The black Honda SUV fled the scene without rendering assistance.

On Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025, Peel Regional Police attended the area of White Clover Way and Apple Blossom Circle in Mississauga and located the black 2018 Honda CRV which was involved in the collision. Upon inspection of the vehicle, investigators observed that parts had been replaced and repairs completed.

Police are seeking the assistance from Dealerships, Garages, Scrap Yards or Parts Retailors who may have sold parts or completed repairs on the black 2018 Honda CRV to call MCB at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3710
