Assistance Needed in Fail to Remain Collision Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-remain collision that occurred in Mississauga.

On Tuesday January 14, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a black Honda SUV on Bristol Road West, at Loonlake Avenue, in Mississauga. The victim, a female in her twenties was taken to a trauma center, where she remains in critical condition.

The black Honda SUV fled the scene without rendering assistance. The Honda will have visible front end damage.

The driver is encouraged to seek legal counsel and surrender to police.

Anyone with information or dash-cam footage within the timeframe and vicinity of the collision is asked to contact the Major Collision Bureau at (905) 453–2121, ext. 3710.
