Public Assistance Needed in Sexual Assault Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a sexual assault in the city of Brampton.
On the morning of Thursday, June 13, 2024, the victim, a female in her 60s, was in the area of Courtleigh Square and Reynier Drive in the city of Brampton, when an unknown male sexually assaulted her. The suspect fled the area. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the assault.
The suspect is described as a male of South-East Asian descent, dark complexion, 30-40 years of age, 5’10 with a stocky build, straight hair to his ears, and wearing a chocolate brown t-shirt and dark navy blue work pants.
Investigators have created a composite sketch of the suspect.
