Public Assistance Sought in Locating Sexual Assault Suspect
Region of Peel – Investigators from Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect, who is believed to be responsible for two sexual assaults in the greenbelt area of Mississauga Valley Boulevard and Arista Way in Mississauga.
On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the victim, a 96-year-old woman was walking in the area of Mississauga Valley Boulevard and the Cooksville Creek Trail when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.
On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 8:15 a.m., the victim, a 66-year-old woman was walking along the Cooksville Creek Trail, between Mississauga Valley Boulevard and Burnhamthorpe Road East, in Mississauga, when the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing the area.
There were no physical injuries sustained by either of the victims.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, early 20s, approximately 5’8”, skinny build, clean shaven, wearing a plain zip-up hoodie and straight-cut black jeans.
