Public Assistance Sought in locating Sexual Assault Suspect
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are looking to identify a male suspected of committing a sexual assault.
On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, between 3:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., the victim, an adult female, was walking along the Chinguacousy Trail, near Central Park Drive in the City of Brampton, when she noticed that she was being followed by the suspect. The victim confronted the suspect who then allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before leaving the area.
The suspect is described as male, black, 20-30 years old, slim build, blue and purple baseball cap, dark hair, black t-shirt with white Under Armour logo, grey basketball shorts, white shoes, also holding a black and grey sweater in his hands.
