Traffic Stop Leads to Firearm Seizure
Region of Peel – Officers from the Strategic Tactical Enforcement Policing STEP team located a loaded firearm and laid numerous firearm-related charges after conducting a traffic stop in the city of Mississauga.
On Sunday, October 6, 2024, at approximately 12:20 a.m., officers from the Strategic Tactical Enforcement Policing STEP team were conducting proactive patrol in the area of Atlantic Drive and Britannia Road in the city of Mississauga. During the investigation, officers located and seized a loaded Glock 19 firearm.
Bradley Thenor, a 20-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with the following criminal offenses:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Careless Storage of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
Have Care or Control of Vehicle or Boat with Cannabis Readily Available
Mike-Andral Kouri, a 32-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following criminal offenses:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Careless Storage of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Order
Gabriella Danyi a 23-year-old woman of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following criminal offenses:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Careless Storage of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
Donley Thenor, a 27-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following criminal offenses:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Careless Storage of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
Von Hans Roc a 26-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following criminal offenses:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Careless Storage of Firearm
Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
All five arrested parties were held for bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
