Petition in House of Commons to combat ‘Hinduphobia’

Are the Hindus of Canada facing overt and covert discrimination and hate at their places of work and within the larger community? Canadian Hindus come from all over the world – from the Indian subcontinent (India, Nepal, Srl Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan etc., Mauritius, Seychelles, Fiiji, South Africa, East Africa, Suriname and many Caribbean countries and they are an important segment of Canadian society. Community activist and leader Dr. Ragini Sharma tells VNN’s Bala Menon that Hinduphobia needs to be listed in the Canadian Human Rights Code.
