Police in Sarnia say a 24 year old suspect wanted in connection with a deadly triple shooting at Lambton College earlier this month may be attempting to change his appearance and clothing as investigators continue their search across Ontario and beyond. According to Global News, authorities have issued a Canada wide warrant for Kyaw Chin Doe following the April 10 incident that left one person dead and two others injured.

The shooting claimed the life of 20 year old Dane Nisbet after officers were called to a college bar shortly before 1 a.m. Investigators allege Doe fled the scene with three others in a Toyota Prius shortly after the incident. Police later located the vehicle in London, Ontario, where search warrants were carried out at two residences connected to the investigation.

One suspect, 23 year old Oudom Bun of London, has already been arrested and charged with second degree murder along with two counts of attempted murder. Police say Doe remains the primary suspect and is also facing charges including second degree murder, attempted murder, and possession of a firearm while prohibited under a court order at the time of the shooting.

Detective Sergeant Kent Jamieson told Global News investigators believe Doe had been involved in confrontations earlier in the evening at other establishments before arriving at the Lambton College location. However, police do not believe there had been prior contact between the suspects and the victims before the confrontation that led to the shooting.

Officers also executed additional search warrants at a residence in Sarnia and a hotel unit in nearby Point Edward, where they recovered what investigators believe to be the firearm used in the attack. During those operations, Ava Leigh Lightheart and Johnathan Osborne Walsh, both 19, were arrested and charged with being accessories after the fact to murder along with other related offences.

Police say they have alerted law enforcement agencies across Ontario and border authorities nationwide as the search continues. Investigators believe Doe may have left the Sarnia area and is currently in hiding. Authorities are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact police immediately. According to Global News, officers continue to warn the suspect that surrendering to authorities remains in his best interest.
