Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp oil or ghee

Salt to taste

Water (as needed)

Oil for deep frying
Instructions:

In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour, salt, and 1 tsp oil.

Add water little by little to form a stiff but pliable dough.

Cover and let rest for 15-20 minutes.

Divide into small balls and roll each into a small disc (about 4 inches).

Heat oil in a deep pan. When hot, fry each poori one at a time.

Press gently with a spoon to puff. Flip and fry both sides until golden.

Drain and serve hot with aloo curry or halwa.
