Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas is an initiative to strengthen the engagement of the overseas Indian community with the Government of India and to help people of Indian origin reconnect with their roots.
The upcoming Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas is scheduled to be held from 8th-10th January 2023 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. For this purpose, Consulate would want our community to wholeheartedly participate in this event and would like to invite nominations for the same. Group Registration
- The Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas website has a provision for Group Registration where a minimum of 10 members are required to register as a group. Special discounts are available for group registrations. Consulate is ready to extend any support for facilitating the Group Registration.
- For the Group Registration, Group Coordinator (who is also a member of the group) would Register a group and upload a Group Document. The group document contains the Full Name, Email ID, Phone Number and Passport Number etc. of all the members of the group. A sample group document is attached herewith for reference.
- A unique coupon code will enable the group member to avail special discount. It may be noted that the coupon code will be shared only, repeat only, with the members of the particular group.
- Thereafter, each member of the group needs to register individually by clicking on “Register as an Individual”. Using the coupon code, the individual members of the group can avail of the group discount.

- Also, Ministry has approved waiving of Visa fees for PIOs visiting India to attend the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. Community members requiring assistance in Visa application for attending Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas may reach-out to CGI Toronto along with proof of registration for 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas (with payment).
Accommodation Portal
- The accommodation portal is functional now. Participants can book their accommodation on: https://pbdaccommodation.mptourism.com/ . All queries related to accommodation can be sent to events@overseastravels.co.in
- Accommodation queries can also be addressed at number +91-731-2444404. A Whatsapp number (+91-9893908123) is also available 24×7 for accommodation queries. Support is available in both English and Hindi language.
- MP Tourism has negotiated special rates with local hotels for accommodation bookings by Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas delegates. Diaspora members are encouraged to book accommodation through the portal created by MP Tourism. They may be informed that these concessional rates will not be available beyond 20 December 2022. Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas delegates wishing to book accommodation later, would have to do so directly with the Hotel concerned at the dynamic fare prevailing thereon.
