Ranbir Kapoor’s reputation for professionalism has once again been highlighted, this time by producer Boney Kapoor, who shared his experience of working with the actor on Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar. Speaking in an interview preview with Game Changers of India, Kapoor revealed that Ranbir’s patience and commitment to his craft stood out during the intense shoot.
Boney recalled how Ranbir never complained about long working hours, extreme weather, or multiple retakes. During filming in Delhi, the team endured harsh summer conditions and shifted the schedule to night shoots, running from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Despite the grueling 16-hour schedules, Ranbir remained unfazed and completely focused on delivering his best performance.
The producer also shared a striking memory of a scene that required over 50 retakes. While Boney admitted to becoming frustrated after his own 15 retakes, Ranbir encouraged him by reminding him that he had already managed 52 takes himself, insisting that one must keep going until the director is satisfied. According to Boney, this attitude captured Ranbir’s respect for the craft and the crew around him.
Ranbir’s dedication has been echoed by others in the industry as well. Actress Indira Krishnan, who plays his mother in the upcoming Ramayana, recently praised his transformation for the role, noting that he trained for hours daily and even after shooting, continued his workouts. She described his commitment as “200 per cent” and credited his ability to embody characters with striking intensity.
Having delivered acclaimed performances in films like Animal, Ranbir continues to impress peers and audiences alike. His colleagues often describe him as adaptable, disciplined, and deeply invested in his roles, qualities that have solidified his place as one of Bollywood’s most respected actors.
