During hoisting of the national flag in western Tripura, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said that the saffron color at the top of the national flag exemplifies strength and courage, sacrifice and zeal, which are evident in the lives and philosophy of our ancient kings and freedom fighters.
He pointed out that the green color of India’s “National Flag is a symbol of progress according to Devi Laxmi”, stating that India worships nature.
It is important for all sections of society in society to maintain and uphold their religious behavior.”
In the middle of the National Flag (the Dharmachakra), which represents the Indian people’s socio-cultural philosophy, the RSS head in western Tripura said. This was after the Tricolour was unfurled at Sewa Dham in Khayerpur.
Our determination is to establish democracy in its truest sense in the present republic system of India, through a dignified behavior and to apply those traditional Hindu philosophical ideas originating from Hindu sages like Baishali and Lichhabi.”
During an address on India’s Republic Day, Bhagwat declared that the culture and philosophy of the ancient Ganarajyas in which true democracy was depicted was a very important part of India’s history.
During India’s ancient Ganarajyas, the democratic system dominated, and the RSS Sarasanghachalak stated that democracy in modern India must be emulated.
On the first day of the trip to the Northeastern states, the RSS chief landed in Tripura after arriving from Manipur. He is holding meetings with RSS cadres.
Mohan Bhagwat was briefed on the state of affairs by chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb, including their plans, programs and missions besides the achievements of the BJP government in Tripura.
