Samosa-Stuffed Jalapeño Poppers: A Spicy, Cheesy Delight

A spicy, cheesy snack that blends samosa filling with the crunch of jalapeño poppers.

Ingredients:

  • 6 large jalapeños, halved and deseeded
  • 2 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • ½ cup peas, boiled
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg (for binding) or cornstarch slurry (for a vegetarian option)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Mash the potatoes and mix with peas, spices, and salt.
  2. Stuff each jalapeño half with the mixture and top with shredded cheese.
  3. Dip in beaten egg or cornstarch slurry, coat with breadcrumbs, and fry until golden brown.
  4. Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce.
