Bollywood’s wealthiest celebrities for 2025 have been revealed, with Shah Rukh Khan leading the list after officially becoming a billionaire this year. According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025, SRK’s fortune has risen from $870 million to $1.4 billion (₹12,490 crore), making him not only India’s richest celebrity but also the world’s richest entertainer, surpassing American pop star Taylor Swift.
Joining him at the top is actress Juhi Chawla, who, along with her husband Jay Mehta, has a combined net worth of ₹7,790 crore. This makes her the richest actress in India, placing her just behind Shah Rukh in overall wealth.
Hrithik Roshan holds the third spot with ₹2,160 crore, much of it from his luxury lifestyle brand. Famed director-producer Karan Johar and his family follow in fourth place, with assets worth ₹1,880 crore through Dharma Productions and Dharmatic Entertainment. Rounding out the top five are the Bachchans — Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan — with a collective wealth of ₹1,630 crore.
Together, the top five richest stars in Bollywood hold a combined fortune of ₹25,950 crore. However, the list also leaves out some big names. Despite their immense popularity, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor did not make the cut this year. Leading actresses such as Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt were also absent from the top five.
The rankings highlight a shifting balance of wealth in Bollywood, with SRK consolidating his dominance, Juhi Chawla emerging as the wealthiest actress, and legacy families like the Bachchans still holding strong in the industry’s financial elite.
